I spent years in the wrong roles because I didn't understand my own wiring.

I did what I needed to do. But I didn't thrive.

I was completely disengaged.

That changed when I stepped into entrepreneurship, building a web design agency with my husband, and discovered what it felt like to actually enjoy work. To do things I was naturally wired to do and see results because of it.

The more I worked in my natural wiring, the more I thrived. And the greater impact I had.

I wanted everyone to experience that in their work.


Part of my own natural wiring is asking questions, finding patterns, pulling on threads.


I started doing that for businesses to help them tell their brand story. They struggled to articulate what made them unique. But I could see it in their story and bring it to the surface.


The problem was I couldn't do that same process for my own brand.


It was too hard to read the label from inside the bottle.


So we chased everything. Constantly pivoting. Trying new strategies borrowed from whoever seemed to be winning. It was exhausting. Discouraging. Working hard but never feeling like we got anywhere.


I knew what I could do for a business. I knew how I could help. But I struggled to articulate it. I struggled to confidently own it. I struggled to show up authentically.


And that ate at me.


Eventually a door opened and I went to work for one of our clients.


I spent five years inside their business, a gas and welding distributor, starting with brand clarity and watching how that clarity connected to actual operational decisions. People decisions. Hiring decisions.


I started to see how important it was to hire people who were wired for the role and aligned with the culture. So I focused on building a process that could uncover that fit before the offer was made.


That's when I made the connection. 


The questions and process I used to tell a brand story were the same ones I was using in hiring.

The same process that uncovers a brand's identity uncovers a candidate's true character and wiring.

I got to see the fruit of hiring the right people and see the impact it had on the business. People thriving in their roles and in the company and it completely shifting the atmosphere. And it all traced back to clarity. We defined what we valued. We attracted people who shared those values. We filtered for alignment. And what we created was an authentic experience for everyone — leaders, employees, customers, vendors. 

It was truly amazing. 

And that stirred a desire in me to see so many more businesses experiencing this, not just one.


In 2024, God called us out of Montana and moved us to Alaska to build that vision.
